Crews prep Oman Arena for bull riding competition

JACKSON, Tenn. — Real cowboys are getting ready to take the stage in Jackson. Championship Bull Riding is bringing bull riders from around the country to compete Friday and Saturday at Oman Arena. Crews put the finishing touches on the arena Thursday. Organizers said the competition brings in thousands of people. “This is one of the few places that you’re so close to the action,” Production Manager Chris Rankin said. “There’s not a bad seat anywhere else in this arena.” The first round of competition kicks of Friday at 8 p.m. The doors open at 6 p.m. General admission tickets cost $25 the day of the show. Tickets for kids 12 and under cost $15 the day of the show and children six and under are free. The event Saturday starts at 8 p.m.
