JACKSON, Tenn. — Madison County commissioners will gather Tuesday for their first 2015 meeting. Among the items on the agenda is a temporary solution to overcrowding at the jail. Commissioners will consider a proposal to spend $24,500 to relocate juveniles charged as adults to facilities in other counties. This comes after a December jail break by two teens housed in the annex at the county courthouse due to overcrowding. Two jailers were injured in the escape.
