JACKSON, Tenn — A local author celebrates the release of his new movie, Tuesday. As Tim Enochs turns each page while reading the Bible, he thinks about how he can help others. His thoughts often become words. “I had a passion to write so people could go to that resource and hopefully get something helpful to them,” Enochs, from Dyersburg, now lives in Jackson. The one-time banker is now a life coach. “Just focusing on what they want and help them understand why they want what they say they want and to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be,” Enochs said. Four years ago, he said, a dream inspired a stream of life-changing words. “It was so impactful that I couldn’t go back to sleep so I got up started writing in my journal, got everything out of my heart and onto the page,” he said. Those words, became his latest book, “The Street Sweeper”. Before “The Street Sweeper”, Enochs wrote two other books. All focus on being an influence and inspiration. The third book soon went from paperback to the big screen. A movie called, “Welcome to Inspiration”, in which he was also executive producer. “The feeling when I heard “action” was surreal,” Enochs said. “I thought ‘this is amazing, it’s happening.'” He said no matter how successful, he still sits in this church on Sundays and remembers what started it all. “The one thing that’s a passion to me is to bring glory to God in whatever I do and that really controls everything else,” he said. “Welcome to Inspiration” is available at Walmart stores and other major retailers nationwide.
