Shooting in Brownsville leaves two injured

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Brownsville Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left two people injured. Investigators told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they received reports of shots being fired around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Thomas Street between Fairgrounds Road and Thornton Road in Brownsville. Authorities say EMS treated two victims, both with minor injuries, on the scene. Officers say two businesses also were damaged in the shooting. Police say the suspects drove a dark colored Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
