Deputies: Man says dream led to him assaulting girlfriend

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was arrested Monday on an assault charge after telling deputies a dream led to him punching his girlfriend, according to the sheriff’s office. Kevin Scott is charged with domestic assault after the woman told deputies they were in bed when he started punching her and also kicked her in the ribs, according to the report. Deputies talked to Scott at a nearby residence where they say he told them he had a dream about his girlfriend cheating on him, then woke up angry and began punching her.
