JACKSON, Tenn. — Investigators arrested a man accused of pimping out a prostitute in Jackson. According to court documents, the woman claimed she was being held against her will. Randall Ward appeared before a judge Monday on several counts including promoting prostitution and drug charges. “They’ll bring girls to town or women to town and then let them do their business,” Madison County Sheriff John Mehr said. Police arrested Ward after a traffic stop Friday at La Quinta Inn. According to an affidavit, a woman told investigators she was a prostitute working for a pimp named TBone, who investigators identified as Ward. “They’re coming from other places, not just here, but from Memphis and Nashville,” Mehr said. According to an affidavit, the woman told investigators Ward was there to collect money and was being held against her will. “We’re actually looking at that,” Mehr said. “She’s actually probably made a false report concerning that, so we’re looking at all of that in part of our investigation.” Mehr said hopefully the arrest sends a message. “They all know each other, and the guys who are the pimps actually know the other pimps, so hopefully it‘ll send a message you know, that Jackson is actually working on prostitution and maybe we better go somewhere else,” he said. Ward is being held on $12,000 bond. Court documents said investigators found marijuana and hydrocodone pills in Ward‘s vehicle. Authorities also arrested Corinda Tuttle following an undercover operation Friday at Days Inn, according to an affidavit. Court documents show an undercover officer responded to an online ad and met Tuttle at the motel, where she reportedly offered “sexual pleasure” for money. Tuttle is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
