Fire destroys historic Huntingdon home

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — Firefighters in Huntingdon are trying to determine what caused a Tuesday fire that destroyed a historic home on East Main Street. No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation. According to Huntingdon Fire Chief Steve Price, the call for help went out around 5:30 p.m. Police were able to get everyone out safely. Firefighters said it took about two hours for them to get the fire under control.
