Man faces charges after alleged apartment break-ins

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in Jackson City Court Tuesday on charges stemming from three alleged break-ins at a triplex apartment. Nicholas Pearson is charged with three counts of aggravated criminal trespassing and one count of vandalism over $500, according to an affidavit. According to police, Pearson admitted to kicking in the doors of three apartments at a Walnut Street triplex and entering each of them. The owner of the property estimated the damage at about $840, the document states. Pearson’s bond was set at $30,000.
