Brownsville police: Two wounded in late night shooting

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Brownsville police are investigating a shooting that happened late Thursday night that left two men wounded. Investigators told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. According to Capt. Chuck Willis with the Brownsville Police Department, at least 20 rounds were fired into a car sitting in a driveway on Tyus Street. One victim was taken to Regional One in Memphis in critical condition. The other was taken to a Jackson hospital in stable condition. Investigators said they are looking for at least two suspects.
