CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — A student who was arrested Monday after an alleged threat Friday at Chester County High School has been suspended, according to school officials. Director of Schools Troy Kilzer said the student was suspended from school but would not say for how long. The alleged threat involved mention of a gun, according to the sheriff’s office. Kilzer said the school is now operating normally. A 17-year-old junior is facing an assault charge in the incident, and officials with the sheriff’s office say there may be more charges to come. The student was released to their parents. The alleged threat stemmed from a Friday afternoon fight over a girl, according to the sheriff’s office.
