Benton Co. authorities seek help in solving area burglaries
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Authorities in Benton County are asking for help in solving a couple of burglaries that have happened in the past week. The burglaries took place in the 1600 block of Liberty Road and the 300 block of Prater Road. In both cases, the back door had been kicked in between 8 a.m. and noon while the residents were not at home. In both cases jewelry and electronics were taken, and a Glock 30 Slimline .45 Cal handgun also was taken. Anyone with information about either of these crimes is asked to call the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at 731-584-4632.
