Gibson Co. deputies get inmate transfer van
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies now will be making fewer trips to court with a new addition to the department’s fleet. Sheriff Paul Thomas says a new prisoner transport van will reduce the number of deputies and patrol cars needed on court days. The previously owned van was purchased with money budgeted by the county commission in the last budget and set aside for vehicle purchases.
