Inmates in Henry Co. build wood duck boxes; free to public

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A local sheriff’s office teams up with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office inmate garden crew and TWRA built wood duck boxes, and they are free to the public. So far, 150 boxes have been built and they are in the process of building more. To get a free wood duck box, call the sheriff’s office at 731-642-1672, Sheriff Monte Belew at 731-336-4699 or TWRA officer Ronnie Cole at 697-7008. The boxes can be picked up at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 210 Forrest Heights Road in Paris.
