Police investigating shooting at Jackson apartment

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting at a Jackson apartment that sent one man to the hospital. Officers responded to the emergency room at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital around 10 p.m. in for a gunshot victim, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department. Police determined a 29-year-old Jackson man had been shot at an apartment in the 20 block of Willa Drive, the release states. The man was treated and released Friday morning, according to the release. He was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
