Man dead following officer-involved shooting in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn.-A man is dead following an officer-involved shooting that happened Friday evening near McLemoresville. According to Carroll County Sheriff Andy Dickson, officers responded to a call of a possible domestic incident just after 8 p.m. in the 2500 block of Terry Road near McCullough Road. Sheriff Dickson said officers pursued a suspect, who pulled a weapon on officers and shots were fired, hitting the man. His name is not being released at this time. The sheriff said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the shooting and no other information is being released at this time.
