TRIMBLE, Tenn. — Jamie Jones, 32, appeared in Dyer County court Thursday to face accusations of having sex with two teenage boys. Jones was arrested Monday during a search for a missing teenager, according to Trimble Police. Police Chief Don Curry said when he arrived at Jones’ residence, a known hangout for young boys in town, she said she did not know where the missing teen was. Jones then gave him permission to search her residence, and Curry found a locked bedroom door that Jones opened. Inside, Curry said he found a 13-year-old boy and a closet with prescription bottles filled with cocaine, their labels marked out. Police say Jones admitted to having sex with the 13-year-old boy and his 14-year-old friend. She faces two charges of statutory rape and one count of drug possession. “Nobody thought that anything like that could happen in a town like Trimble, but it does,” Curry said. “It does happen anywhere if you don’t watch after your kids.” He said after speaking with both victims he found the relationship lasted from November 2014 to the first week of January. During that time, police say there were multiple occasions the boys had sexual intercourse with Jones, and at least one where she had sex with both boys at the same time in the same bed. The 13-year-old victim’s mother said she warned Jones to stay away from her children after being suspicious before, but she never thought this was happening inside the residence. “I’m very, very upset,” she said. “It’s taken an emotional toll on all of us.” With Jones now free on a $5,000 bond, she does not know how to react. “How do you go about without speaking to her?” she said. “I see her without even contacting her because I’m at rage. I am very furious.” Curry said during the arrest Jones blamed drinking as what caused her to look for companionship with the teenagers. Deputies said Jones is scheduled to appear again Feb. 26 in Dyer County Court.
