Siblings charged in 2013 homicide appear in Jackson court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The brother and sister charged in the 2013 death of a man found outside a Jackson preschool appeared Thursday for their preliminary hearing. After testimony, Brett Atchison’s case was sent to the grand jury. However, his sister Meghan’s case was postponed until she hires an attorney. Brett is charged with first-degree murder, and Meghan with filing a false report in the March 2013 death of William Nachlinger, Meghan’s boyfriend.
