Wreck slows traffic on stretch of I-40

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Westbound traffic is at a standstill at mile marker 112 of Interstate 40 because of a traffic accident, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Eastbound traffic is moving slowly, according to the THP. Crews are on scene to clear the roadway. Some motorists have told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they have been stuck in traffic for up to four hours.
