Suspected rapist, child molester arrested

JACKSON, Tenn. — A suspected rapist and child molester wanted in Hardin County was arrested Tuesday by U.S Marshals in Jackson. Chico Parks has been wanted since December on counts of rape, aggravated sexual battery of a child and solicitation of a minor. Officers said he is accused of abusing a woman and child. Marshals said he also was wanted by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on a 2013 drug count. Officers said when they arrested him Tuesday, he had what was believed to be cocaine in his pocket.
