Woman charged with vandalizing Jackson property management office

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman faces charges after police say she vandalized the office of a Jackson property manager. Laveda Randle reportedly became angry after filing a complaint at the office at Mundt Rental Properties at 1600 Hollywood Drive. Witnesses told police Randle kicked a vending machine, threw flower pots and tore down blinds from the service window, according to a police report. An employee locked the door behind Randle as she left, and then Randle kicked the door and struck the window, according to the report. The property owner told police about $1,000 worth of damage was done to the business. Randle is free on a $2,000 bond.
