Jackson woman in court on alleged screwdriver attack

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman was in Jackson court Monday on accusations of trying to stab her boyfriend with a screwdriver and a pair of scissors. Police say Trina West’s boyfriend told them she attacked him during a fight. They also say West showed them the screwdriver she had during the alleged assault. West is charged with aggravated assault and vandalism. She is being held for a future hearing.
