Union’s Women Get Top Seed in South Region of NCAA D-II Tournament

JACKSON, Tenn — The Union University Women’s Basketball team was given the top seed in the South Region of the NCAA’s Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament. The NCAA announced the seeding for the tournament in a broadcast Sunday night. Union will get the benefit of playing at home as the host of the South Region. The Lady Bulldogs are 14-0 at home this season. Union plays Albany State in the first round of the South Region. Games begin Friday, March 13.
