JACKSON, Tenn. — You can help stop hunger in Jackson-Madison County. Regional Inter-Faith Association’s Feed the need campaign aims to raise 150,000 meals. For the past 15 years, RIFA has participated in the Feinstein Foundation, which helped raise more than $85,000 last year alone. Now that the foundation has suspended its annual giveaway, RIFA hopes the community will come together to make up the difference. “So without Mr. Feinstein, again, putting his money out there on the table, we had to come up with another way to collect food during this really important time of year before the summer months and donations start to slow down,” said Lisa Tillman, executive director of RIFA. The Feed the Need campaign lasts through the rest of March and all of April. The organization accepts non-perishable items. Visit the Seen on 7 section of our website for when and where you can drop off food.
