Man accused of shooting cousin in face appears in court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man accused of shooting his own cousin in the face appeared in court Thursday for a hearing to see if there’s enough evidence to move the case forward. Officials say Aheamda Agins was at an apartment with his cousin when their argument turned violent. The victim testified in court Thursday saying Agins shot him in the face while walking out. He also said the two had been drinking. The case has been bound over to the grand jury.
