Afternoon wreck slows traffic in south Jackson

SOUTH JACKSON — A late afternoon wreck Friday in south Jackson sent three people to the hospital and slowed traffic. Officers say as the truck was crossing northbound traffic the car slammed into it. The driver of the car and two passengers were taken to the hospital. However, police say they’re expected to be OK. The driver of the truck was not hurt. Officers on the scene could not say if anyone was cited.
