Dairy Queen celebrates 75 years with free ice cream

JACKSON, Tenn. — It may melt if you keep it out too long in this early spring heat, but that shouldn’t deter you from getting an ice cream cone on the house. Dairy Queen is celebrating turning 75 by giving away free ice cream Monday At any DQ location, including the Jackson locations on North Highland Avenue and on Vann Drive, you can get a free vanilla soft-serve cone through the rest of the night. Donations will be given to the Children’s Miracle Network.
