DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in Jackson court Monday on accusations of holding a machete to his wife’s throat and cutting her hands and leg. Michael Calenzo is charged with aggravated domestic assault. Police responded Saturday to a Skyhaven Drive residence where police say Calenzo had held the machete to his wife’s throat during an argument, cutting her hands as she tried to push the blade away and also striking her in the right shin. Calenzo’s bond was set at $5,000, and he was issued a no-contact order.
