Bank leaders mull future of branch where double shooting occurred

NORTH JACKSON — The president of a Jackson bank where a deadly double shooting occurred Monday says employees are trying to come to terms with the sudden loss of their co-worker. Signs on the doors at the Bank of Jackson on West University Parkway say the branch will be closed until further notice. Harbert Alexander Jr., president of Bank of Jackson, told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News they are discussing how to handle the West University Parkway branch. He said grief counselors are available for employees. Alexander said those who work at the Bank of Jackson are family together and that dealing with the death of a co-worker is like dealing with the death of a family member.
