Bank shooting sends North Side High School into lockdown

NORTH JACKSON — A deadly shooting Monday at a Jackson bank sent a nearby high school into lockdown. North Side High School, located less than a mile from the Bank of Jackson, where in shooting occurred on West University Parkway, was placed on lockdown around 9:30 a.m. District officials say is was purely as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted around 11 a.m.
