Drug raid at Jackson apartment lands man in court on drug charges

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Monday narcotics raid by Jackson police landed a man in city court Tuesday on numerous drug counts. Rochester Lee was the target of a search warrant executed at his Campbell Street apartment, according to court papers. The affidavit states that investigators found a baggie with .69 grams of cocaine, four hydrocodone pills, a digital scale with white residue in the kitchen and another digital scale in the backyard, and two marijuana roaches on the kitchen table. Lee is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to resale, possession of schedule II, possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lee’s bond was set at $5,000.
