Subject in custody after alleged TitleMax robbery

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man is behind bars after police say he robbed a Jackson business at gunpoint. Around 5 p.m. Monday, a man went into TitleMax with a handgun, held the employees at gunpoint and demanded money, according to the Jackson Police Department. Officers were able to contain a wooded area behind the business where they were able to take the man into custody with the help of a K-9 unit. A weapon and cash were recovered where the subject was arrested, according to police. Police have not yet identified the man because he has not been formally charged.
