Gadsden Elementary students look to future with career fair

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — Students at Gadsden Elementary School learned about future college and career opportunities Thursday. The school hosted a College and Career Fair for the students to learn about the kinds of possibilities their future can hold. Guests from local colleges and different professions volunteered to talk to students about the education requirements, job requirements and personality traits important in different careers. Gadsden Elementary is one of three schools in the state to become a No Excuse University School. This means all of the school’s classrooms have a college theme and that students are taught that going to college begins in elementary school.
