Police search for suspects involved in armed robbery

NORTH JACKSON — Jackson police confirm an armed robbery overnight at the Dollar General on North Highland Avenue. Police say it happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say they are looking for three black men, two of which they say were armed. One of the men was wearing camo pants, a black sweater and has dreadlocks. The second was wearing gray sweatpants and a gray hoodie. They have no description of the third suspect at this time.
Police say the suspects escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The clerk inside was hit by one of the suspects, but no other injuries have been reported.
