9 years since deadly Bradford tornado

BRADFORD, Tenn. — It has been 9 years since an F3 tornado hit the city of Bradford in Gibson County, causing widespread damage and multiple deaths. The tornado touched down and caused some damage in Dyer before rapidly intensifying and striking Bradford. Six people were killed and 44 people were injured when the tornado touched down. The Bradford police station as well as 75 homes were destroyed. It took crews days to restore power to most of the city.
