WEST JACKSON — For the second time in two days, a west Jackson home catches fire and it’s considered suspicious, according to the Jackson Fire Department. Firefighters said they responded to 1749 Hollywood Drive just after 8 o’clock Saturday night. The home was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived, according to officials. No one was living inside the home at the time and electricity to the home also had been cut off, according to the fire department. The same house caught fire Thursday causing minor damage, and investigators said it did not rekindle. It took crews 45 minutes to get the fire under control. Fire officials say an arson investigator was called to the scene to determine a cause.
