One dead after vehicular homicide in Medon

MEDON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms one person has died in a crash Saturday night along Highway 18 in Medon. Just after 10 o’clock, troopers said a Ford F-150 went to pass another vehicle and was struck on the passenger side after swerving to miss a 1971 pickup truck coming from the other direction. Three people were involved in the crash, and the driver of the 1971 model truck was killed. Vehicles were backed up for at least two hours waiting for officials to investigate before clearing the scene.
