JACKSON, Tenn. — An enchanted evening brought an audience to the Carl Perkins Civic Center to watch and listen to the Jackson Symphony and special guests. The Jackson Symphony performed some of the classic numbers from musical theater legends Rogers and Hammerstein. Vocalists joined the symphony to sing pieces from the musicals “Oklahoma,” “The Sound of Music” and “The King and I.” Saturday marked the final night of the Jackson Symphony’s 54th season. The symphony is directed by Dr. Peter Shannon.
