JACKSON, Tenn. — Some West Tennessee community members spent part of their weekend learning about their health. The event was hosted at the Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church Education Center. The health expo offered free health screenings, taking blood pressure, stress tests and one-on-one consultation. Organizers said it’s all about bringing health awareness to Jackson so people can live better lives. The Jackson Fire Department was also there to educate kids about fire safety and responding to calls.
