Generals’ Home Opener Rained Out

JACKSON, Tenn. – Opening Day at the Ballpark at Jackson got off to a great start for the Generals. The weather looked promising and the bats were swinging. Jackson scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning, but then mother nature took over. The home opener was suspended in the top of the third. The Generals announced that the game will resume at 5:05 p.m. on Thursday. After that contest, a 7-inning game will be played.
