JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of cyclists rode through the streets of Madison County for the West Clinic Rockabilly City Century bike race. This ride carries on tradition as the newly revamped Hope on Wheels ride. Organizers said most participants are from out of town. The ride took off and ended at the Lift Wellness Center with courses varying from 25 to 100 miles. “The cool thing about this is we have great country roads,” event organizer Matt Joiner said. “Once we get out of downtown, you see almost no traffic. You’ve got great roads, you know — smooth, fast, little bit of hills, but not too many.” All money raised benefits Young Life of Jackson and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
