Countdown is on for ‘Jackson Decides’ mayoral debate
JACKSON, Tenn. — We are now just hours away from “Jackson Decides,” your chance to see the five candidates for Jackson mayor debate matters most important to you. Preparations began Wednesday afternoon inside Ayers Auditorium on the campus of Jackson State Community College. That is where the debate will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Seats are available on a first-come basis. “This is big, not just for us at Jackson State but for the community as well,” said John McCommon of Jackson State Community College. “We hope everyone comes out to meet and greet the candidates.” “Jackson Decides” is sponsored by WBBJ-TV and Jackson State Community College.
