Volunteers help clean midtown community

JACKSON, Tenn. — Volunteers worked to clean up neighborhoods at the University of Memphis Lambuth campus. Volunteers from local central distribution companies took part in a project associated with the Month of Miracles. The volunteers helped pick up trash, mow lawns, and trim shrubs on Pearl and Maple Street towrard the entrance of Lambuth. Volunteers say its part of their company’s initiative of not having to go too far to make a difference. More than 30 volunteers participated in the event.
