Jesus Church opens its doors in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A reformed gang member and now pastor held the first sermon for the Jesus Church. Sunday, the non-denominational church said its mission is to build a better Jackson through the Lord’s faith. Mychel Hunt is the 24-year old pastor at the church, and he says his motto is “Get Jesus, Got Jesus, Give Jesus.” The congregation encourages its members to come with open hearts. Church services are held at the Festivities Building on North Highland.
