Man struck by van in east Jackson

EAST JACKSON — Crews are on scene after a man is struck by a van. Police say the man who was hit is 50 years old and currently in stable condition at a local hospital. The incident took place near the intersection of North Highland Avenue and Wilkinson Street in east Jackson. Police say there is not yet word on a cause.
