Madison Co. Commission chairman to resign

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Mark Johnstone has announced he is resigning from the Madison County Commission. Johnstone serves as chairman of the commission. He is a representative of District 9. He told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he and his wife have purchased a home outside his district. His resignation will be effective at the May 18 commission meeting.
