Woman charged with stealing from Hardeman Co.
HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A Whiteville woman is charged with stealing thousands of dollars from Hardeman County. According to the TBI, back in October of last year, Le’Curnita Spencer pocketed cash payments from customers at the Hardeman County landfill while working with the solid waste department. Investigators say she took more than $3,000. She’s been indicted on two counts of official misconduct and one count of felony theft.
