Relay for Life brings hundreds to Jackson Fairgrounds

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds came out Friday night to the Jackson Fairgrounds to participate in one of the largest Relay for Life events in West Tennessee. More than 70 teams participated in this year’s event. So far, the organization has raised more than $200,000 to fund cancer research. People also were able to sponsor luminaria, candle lights in memory of someone who has lost a battle with cancer.
