Man arrested in two separate weekend incidents

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Over the weekend, a Madison County man was arrested and booked in two separate crimes. Officials at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office say Mark Trimmer was first arrested around 12:30 a.m. Sunday on counts of simple domestic assault and unlawful possession of a weapon after an alleged fight. Less than a day later, Trimmer was arrested again for reportedly violating an order of protection.
