Man charged with DUI, hitting pedestrian in parking lot
DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was charged with driving under the influence after supposedly hitting a pedestrian Saturday in the parking lot of Home Depot on Vann Drive. Officers performing field sobriety tests on Robert Cantrell say he was unsteady on his feet and slurring his words when police arrived. A 40-ounce bottle of Bud Light and a prescription of Oxycontin were reportedly found in his car. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
