Man wanted in Martin attempted kidnapping arrested in Miss.
MERIDIAN, Miss. — Authorities have arrested a man in Mississippi accused of trying to kidnap a woman and her daughter in Martin. Derrick Nicholson was arrested in Meridian, Miss., after U.S. Marshals got a tip he was in the state where he also has family. Marshals notified the gulf coast task force out of Jackson, Miss., who arrested Nicholson near a hotel. Nicholson is accused of trying to kidnap the women May 2 at knife point.
